Alexa Borodiak, MPAS, PA-C, is a highly skilled and board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in aesthetic medicine. Her expertise includes injectables, cutting-edge laser treatments, radiofrequency microneedling, scar management therapy and other procedures such as microcoring and aveli. She is certified with Allergan, Galderma, Revance, Evolus, Sciton, Inmode, Endymed, Revelle, Cytrellis among other companies.

A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Biological Studies and Health Professions, Alexa spent years focusing on medical and cosmetic dermatology before she furthered her education at Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, earning her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Driven by her dual passions for patient care and skincare, Alexa transitioned to Bucky Plastic Surgery, where she provides an elevated patient experience and achieves exceptional skincare results.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alexa deeply values the relationships she builds with her patients and takes pride in putting their needs first. With her knowledge, passion and positive energy, Alexa strives to deliver outstanding results every single time.

Alexa is committed to staying at the forefront of her field, continually seeking opportunities for advanced training and education to provide her patients with the most innovative treatments available. She is also on track to complete a dermatology fellowship with the Society of Dermatology PAs in 2025. Alexa’s unwavering commitment to excellence in aesthetic medicine is exemplified by her recent achievement as a national trainer for the Ellacor micro-coring device, the latest advancement in skincare technology. She is also an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants.

Amanda joins Bucky Plastic Surgery at the Ardmore office with a decade of experience in dermatology, luxury, and medical spa environments. A graduate of the Jean Madeline Institute in Philadelphia, Amanda’s passion for beauty and healthy, glowing skin has led her to develop extensive expertise in treating a variety of skin types and conditions. She specializes in skin care and laser rejuvenation treatments, particularly enjoying performing HALO and MOXI, and enhancing the results with a combination of BBL. These laser combinations yield quick, noticeable results, and patient satisfaction is consistently high.

Her diverse experience includes working with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, OBGYNs, Laser Hair Removal Centers, and Resort Spas, allowing her to utilize a variety of lasers and modalities. Amanda has attended seminars and trade shows across the country, trained under some of the industry’s best mentors, and earned certification as a Master CoolSculpting Provider.

Amanda’s approach to patient care emphasizes setting realistic expectations. She believes that one laser treatment alone won’t give you the skin of your dreams; it takes time, consistency, and a tailored skincare regimen. By educating her patients and stressing the importance of maintenance, Amanda fosters trust and works alongside her patients to achieve and maintain healthy skin.

Michelle Martin-Thomas, BSN, RN, LE is a passionate and highly skilled professional in the field of aesthetics and a trusted skincare problem solver. As a Registered Nurse and licensed aesthetician, Michelle has dedicated her career to blending science-backed techniques with a warm, friendly approach, all while helping individuals regain their confidence through clear, radiant skin.

Michelle’s personal experience with acne during her teenage and young adult years, along with the subsequent scarring it left behind, ignited her deep-rooted interest in skincare. Driven by her newfound skincare curiosity and passion, Michelle enrolled in the prestigious Jean Madeline Aveda Institute for Cosmetology, focusing her studies on aesthetics. After completing her training as a registered nurse and graduating with honors, she has honed her expertise and received comprehensive training and certifications on various aesthetic laser, light, and energy-based platforms, working in some of the most esteemed spas and clinics in Philadelphia, New York, and Charlotte, over the past 25 years.

With her extensive training, she has skillfully and safely performed a wide range of treatments, including fractional laser resurfacing, intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, laser hair removal, skin tightening, laser vein removal, and fat reduction procedures. Additionally, Michelle has attained advanced certifications in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microcurrent techniques, and microneedling.

Tirzah Blair, a Licensed Clinical Aesthetician, has more than 28 years of experience in the medical anesthetics industry. Tirzah is
extremely knowledgeable in a variety of light-based rejuvenation technologies and is certified in a broad range of medical and therapeutic modalities. Tirzah won ‘Best of Philly’ three years in a row and has become a local household name in the skin care industry. In her former role as founder and owner of Kari Skin, Tirzah created her very own aesthetic mentorship program where she educated estheticians on how to achieve their professional goals, while instilling a sense of confidence and community in her employees. She is extremely proud of the last five years spent perfecting her craft as well as, continued training with physicians and industry leaders from around the world.

Tirzah fuses her experience of medical and holistic concepts with her passion for skin wellness to truly give each patient what they need to feel supported. Tirzah’s clients say that she has a nurturing and playful manner which helps to build trust and loyalty. She has been professionally featured in Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia Inquirer, Citizen Magazine and has made several appearances on ABC Channel 6 News in Philadelphia.

Tirzah lives in Chestnut Hill with her husband, 10-year-old daughter Kieran, and her dog Luna, each of which receive skincare tips from Tirzah daily.
