Kimmi Ragone has distinguished herself as a premier aesthetic nurse injector, spanning a career of over two decades at Bucky Plastic Surgery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her interest in aesthetic medicine began while working in the operating room with the renowned, board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Louis Bucky. Working alongside Dr. Bucky performing facelifts, blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty procedures, Kimmi received a unique exposure to facial anatomy and an understanding of the ultimate results that surgery can deliver.

Given her experience and education, Kimmi was well equipped to transition into the office setting performing aesthetic procedures that included skincare, lasers and injectables. Ultimately, Kimmi dedicated herself to become a full time aesthetic injector. She is recognized for her comprehensive consultations and full facial injection skills that yield beautiful, natural looking results. Her passion for excellence and artistic ability is balanced by a respect for patient safety that has led to beautiful outcomes for thousands of individuals. She has extensive experience utilizing every FDA-approved product accessible within the U.S. market

Kimmi’s expertise and knowledge is recognized by industry as an invited advisory board member for multiple corporate leaders. In addition, she was honored to become a GAIN trainer for Galderma Aesthetics; providing her the opportunity to train new and experienced aesthetic MDs, NPs, RNs and PAs. Kimmi also enjoys her consulting work as a speaker for several leaders in beauty and skincare, presenting for Evolus (Jeuveau), Sente Skincare, and Rion Skin Science (Plated). She is an invited lecturer and respected thought leader at aesthetic education conferences and meetings,annually.

Kimmi’s continued desire to deliver the best, cutting edge results has led her to invest multiple hours studying at the highest level of aesthetic training throughout her career. She has taken her foundational knowledge from working with Dr Bucky to an elite level by receiving personal training with national and internationally recognized leaders in injectable aesthetics including Michael Kane, Arthur Swift, Lee Walker, Julie Horne, Raj Acquilla, Zack Ally, Chris Surek, David Saadat and Sebastian Cotofana. Kimmi is the Executive Director of Injectables and Skincare at Bucky Plastic Surgery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and offers 23 years of experience and expertise to her patients at the prestigious Rittenhouse Square location.

Valerie Daily, BSN, RN is a highly skilled registered nurse injector specializing in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, serving as the Director of Injectables at the Washington Square location of Bucky Plastic Surgery. With a career spanning since 2006, Valerie has been an integral part of the practice, working closely alongside Dr. Bucky. This collaboration has afforded her a deep understanding of surgical techniques, facial anatomy, and the natural aging processes of both the face and body.

Recognized as a master injector, Valerie possesses an extensive knowledge of the various non-surgical treatment options available. She is celebrated for her ability to deliver natural, long-lasting results that enhance her patients’ features while maintaining their individuality. Her calming demeanor contributes to a reassuring experience for those she treats.

Valerie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and is on track to complete her Nurse Practitioner degree from LaSalle University later this year.

Passionate about education, Valerie has served as a trainer for both Allergan and Revance Aesthetics, where she instructs doctors and nurse injectors on refining their injection techniques. Only those providers demonstrating exceptional expertise and a profound understanding of facial anatomy and aging are selected for this prestigious program. Committed to professional growth, Valerie regularly attends advanced training sessions and industry meetings to remain at the forefront of aesthetic medicine.

Kate Lynch, RN is an accomplished aesthetic nurse specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery with over a decade of experience at Bucky Plastic Surgery. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Design and Merchandising from Drexel University. Since 2009, Kate has focused on aesthetic skincare, laser therapy, and dermal fillers, establishing herself as a recognized expert in her field. Notably, she is a certified Bellafill® specialist, skillfully utilizing this innovative injectable to effectively treat acne scars and a range of cosmetic facial concerns.

In her role at Bucky Plastic Surgery, Kate has been instrumental in developing a comprehensive clinical training program that ensures all staff members provide the highest standard of patient care. Her unique blend of scientific knowledge and artistic sensibility makes her well-suited for the nuanced field of aesthetic medicine, allowing her to deliver both precise and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.

Kate has distinguished herself as a leader in the field, serving as the nurse facilitator for the Allergan Masters course in 2019 in Philadelphia, where she assisted Dr. Ogilvie, a well-known dermatologist and master injector from Germany. She was also one of the first injectors in the country to attend the Revance PreVu Launch in Nashville for Daxxify in December 2022, bringing this groundbreaking neurotoxin to Bucky Plastic Surgery. In 2023, Kate achieved recognition as a Certified Allergan Master Expert in Advanced Facial Aesthetics. More recently, in April 2024, she served as the Nurse Facilitator, Host, and Injector for The Revance RHA® Collection In-Office Injection Program featuring Dr. Lee Walker. Additionally, she regularly attends multiple Galderma GAIN Peer-to-Peer trainings throughout the year to stay at the forefront of the industry.

As an active member of the International Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ISPSN), Kate has contributed her expertise at the national meetings, including presenting as a guest speaker at the National ISPSN 2014 Chicago Meeting. She holds the CANS certification (Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist) and was honored as “Best of Bucks Nurse 2014” by The Intelligencer for her outstanding contributions to the field.

Alexa Borodiak, MPAS, PA-C, is a highly skilled and board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in aesthetic medicine. Her expertise includes injectables, cutting-edge laser treatments, radiofrequency microneedling, scar management therapy and other procedures such as microcoring and aveli. She is certified with Allergan, Galderma, Revance, Evolus, Sciton, Inmode, Endymed, Revelle, Cytrellis among other companies.

A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Biological Studies and Health Professions, Alexa spent years focusing on medical and cosmetic dermatology before she furthered her education at Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, earning her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Driven by her dual passions for patient care and skincare, Alexa transitioned to Bucky Plastic Surgery, where she provides an elevated patient experience and achieves exceptional skincare results.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alexa deeply values the relationships she builds with her patients and takes pride in putting their needs first. With her knowledge, passion and positive energy, Alexa strives to deliver outstanding results every single time.

Alexa is committed to staying at the forefront of her field, continually seeking opportunities for advanced training and education to provide her patients with the most innovative treatments available. She is also on track to complete a dermatology fellowship with the Society of Dermatology PAs in 2025. Alexa’s unwavering commitment to excellence in aesthetic medicine is exemplified by her recent achievement as a national trainer for the Ellacor micro-coring device, the latest advancement in skincare technology. Luke Levin is an expert Nurse Injector at Bucky Body Center and the Certified CoolSculpting and miraDry Coordinator for Bucky Plastic Surgery. Known for his patient-focused approach and passion for aesthetic care, Luke blends clinical precision with a friendly, approachable style to help patients achieve their goals with confidence.

Luke earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Activity from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Nursing from Duquesne University. He further refined his clinical expertise at the University of Pennsylvania. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous education, Luke earned the Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) certification, staying current with the latest innovations in aesthetics.

He offers a broad range of injectable treatments, including neuromodulators like BOTOX®, Dysport®, Daxxify and Jeuveau®, and dermal fillers such as Restylane®, RHA®, Juvéderm® and more. Luke is known for his conservative, natural approach, prioritizing gradual enhancements that reflect each patient’s individuality.

Monette Solomon, MSN, RN is an accomplished nurse with nearly 20 years of experience, having worked in some of Philadelphia’s most prestigious trauma and surgical intensive care units, as well as post-anesthesia care units. Monette’s journey in aesthetic medicine began when she met Dr. Bucky while working in the recovery room. This connection led her to join his concierge overnight recovery team, where she provided specialized care for patients following facelift surgeries and other procedures.

Her role in this integral team ignited a passion for aesthetic medicine, motivating Monette to transition her career towards local aesthetic medical clinics. Committed to staying at the forefront of her field, she has participated in numerous trainings with top aesthetic providers, nurse injectors, and leading industry brands. This ongoing education ensures she utilizes the best evidence-based practices while continuously honing her skills.

Monette holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University and recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on Adult Nurse Practitioner from The University of Cincinnati, where she is currently anticipating board certification.

She takes pride in cultivating trusting relationships with her patients and is dedicated to delivering exceptional care that consistently exceeds expectations. Monette is thrilled to bring her extensive experience and dynamic approach to her clinical practice at Bucky Plastic Surgery, where she aims to empower her patients to look and feel their best.

Kenneth Mason, PA-C, MPAS, is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Bucky Plastic Surgery and Bucky Body Center, specializing in aesthetic medicine. With over four years of experience, Kenny has quickly become one of the top providers on the East Coast for Ellacor and is also skilled in performing Aveli treatments. He is passionate about delivering exceptional results while fostering a calm, reassuring environment for his patients.

Kenny earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Thomas Jefferson University, where he was consistently named to the Dean’s List. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and continues to expand his expertise by performing advanced procedures such as fat grafting for breast and facial enhancement, as well as using diluted fat in the neck for aesthetic improvements.

Known for his honest, compassionate approach, Kenny takes time to listen to his patients’ concerns, whether they are seeking medical weight loss or cosmetic treatments. He reassures them that their feelings are valid and common, helping to create a foundation of trust. By building strong relationships with patients, Kenny ensures their concerns are addressed and outcomes are optimized.

In addition to his clinical work, Kenny thrives in the operating room, collaborating with Dr. Bucky on numerous procedures, including using fat to enhance aesthetic results, such as breast reshaping and facial fat grafting during facelifts. Outside of his medical practice, Kenny is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers, and Phillies. He also enjoys playing in recreational leagues for sports such as softball, volleyball, kickball, and basketball—keeping active and reliving his youthful spirit.

Amanda joins Bucky Plastic Surgery at the Ardmore office with a decade of experience working in dermatology, luxury and medical spa environments. As a graduate from the Jean Madeline Institute in Philadelphia, Amanda’s innate passion for beauty and healthy, glowing skin has gained her extensive experience over the years in treating a variety of skin types and conditions through the latest technologies in laser, anti-aging and body contouring treatments.

Michelle Martin-Thomas, RN, LE is a passionate and highly skilled professional in the field of aesthetics and a trusted skincare problem solver. As a Registered Nurse and licensed aesthetician, Michelle has dedicated her career to blending science-backed techniques with a warm, friendly approach, all while helping individuals regain their confidence through clear, radiant skin.

Michelle’s personal experience with acne during her teenage and young adult years, along with the subsequent scarring it left behind, ignited her deep-rooted interest in skincare. Driven by her newfound skincare curiosity and passion, Michelle enrolled in the prestigious Jean Madeline Aveda Institute for Cosmetology, focusing her studies on aesthetics. After completing her training as a registered nurse and graduating with honors, she has honed her expertise and received comprehensive training and certifications on various aesthetic laser, light, and energy-based platforms, working in some of the most esteemed spas and clinics in Philadelphia, New York, and Charlotte, over the past 25 years.

With her extensive training, she has skillfully and safely performed a wide range of treatments, including fractional laser resurfacing, intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, laser hair removal, skin tightening, laser vein removal, and fat reduction procedures. Additionally, Michelle has attained advanced certifications in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microcurrent techniques, and microneedling.

Since 2013, Jeannette Lopez has been a key member of Dr. Bucky’s surgical team, bringing over two decades of expertise and dedication to her role. As Senior Operating Room Nurse, Jeannette works alongside Dr. Bucky in the operating rooms at Penn Medicine-Tuttleman Surgery Center, Vincera Surgery Center, and The Bucky Body Center, ensuring every procedure runs smoothly and efficiently.

In addition to her technical expertise in the OR, Jeannette plays a pivotal role in patient care as a trusted liaison. She carefully prepares patient charts, confirming all surgical paperwork, implants, and supplies are accounted for, ensuring nothing is overlooked. During pre-operative interviews, her calm and professional demeanor helps ease any patient anxieties, addressing their questions with empathy and insight. Jeannette’s unique perspective as both a nurse and a former patient—having undergone her own breast reconstruction with Dr. Bucky—allows her to offer genuine understanding and reassurance.

Affectionately known as “J Lo” by her patients, Jeannette is known for her humor and charm. Although patients may be surprised to meet a quick-witted Filipino nurse with a South Philly accent, she proudly owns the nickname, fostering a relaxed and supportive environment that puts her patients at ease.

A graduate of Thomas Jefferson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Jeannette began her career in telemetry and as a traveling nurse before transitioning to the operating room in 2001. While she has worked across various surgical specialties, plastic surgery is her passion. Seeing the immediate, transformative results in her patients fuels her love for the field, knowing each procedure contributes to their confidence and well-being.
